Hotel Description:
The Villa, which dates back to the fourteenth century and is near to a historic monastery, is surrounded by cypress trees and olive groves. Your hosts have only just finished restoration work and the bedrooms reserved for guests are suitably luxurious. All guests will have at their disposal a chiostro-garden, a biliard room, an old "cantina" for wine tests and internet service. Minimum stay: 2 nights. English and French spoken. Children over 8 yrs are welcome. Guests can request a shuttle service to and from the airport. The golf course Ugolino is just about 7 km fro the villa.

 Rooms:

One Suite with double bed and the option of a third bed with bathroom with tub and shower. Two Double or twin-bedded rooms, the "Margherita" and the "Peonia", both with bathroom with shower (can also be rented as singles). The "Violetta" room, a double or triple with bathroom with Jacuzzi and shower. All rooms have air conditioning and Satellite Television.


Double Rooms:
Standard rooms with 1 queen bed. They are furnished in Tuscan style. All the rooms have private bathrooms with original and tipical 16th century floor. The rooms are provided with air conditioning and Satellite TV. Rooms with a view are available.
Double Rooms Deluxe:
This room is the biggest double room in "Villa il Colle". This room is incredibly comfortable with a lot of natural light. The room can be both double and triple and it's furnished with a very big private bath with a hydromassage. The pavement is original. The room has air conditioning and satellite TV.

Standard Suite:
The suite has a king-size bed with the possibility of ading a third bed and there are 7 windows in the room with a beautyful view on Florence. The bathroom is really big, with bath-shower. In addition to a splendid view on the Duomo, the suite is furnished in a Tuscan style with a magnificent original 16th century floor. Air conditioning and TV.

"Villa Il Colle" is a splendid 14th century hotel set in the midst of the green Florentine hills, surrounded by centuries-old olive and cypress trees, and enjoying a splendid panoramic view of Florence. Villa Il Colle lies on Montisoni Hill, halfway between the old monastery dating back to the 13th century (that gives its name to the hill and which is within easy walking distance) and the square of Antella, a characteristic village on the outskirts of Florence.

From Airport:
From the Airport "A. Vespucci": take the A1 highway direction Rome and exit at "Firenze Sud". After the toll turn the first street to the right, direction Siena, after about 1.5 km turn left direction "Antella". Via "Montisoni" starts from the Antella's square with the Church on your left. (direction Cemetery of Antella). The Peretola Airport in Florence is 12 km from the Villa.

From Train Station:
The nearest station is in Florence at 10 Km.

From Road:
From the A1 highway exit "Firenze Sud": After the toll turn the first street to the right, direction Siena, after about 1.5 km turn left direction "Antella". Via "Montisoni" start from the Antella's square with the Church on your left. (direction Cemetery of Antella)
